Re: It is original?
I have had dealings with China before. If the fossil is original or a composite, you will still need an export licence from the Chinese government to be able to take the fossil out of the country. Take care, there are a lot of composites and retouched fossils about in this area.

Re: Really strange. Any Ideas?
/oldfossil/opslag/436620549fig206.jpg Does the fossil have a rounded area at each end which may be the residue of a stem. If so - it is a cone similar to the one shown. It is certainly unusual and I have not found anything quite like it in my own library of papers. Polished specimens are always ...

Re: Really strange. Any Ideas?
This is unusual, it looks like a seed pod or a cone. If it is a cone it may have been polished in the sea and lost its overall structure. What age do you think it is - perhaps the age of nearby cliffs?

Re: ID PLEASE
This is a fine specimen. I am not an expert in this field but these look like the palatal crusher teeth of a ray. Some sharks also have similar crusher teeth.

Re: IDENT PLEASE
This looks like Neohibolites minimus attenuatus which is a common belemnite within the Hunstanton red chalk. I have several examples within my own fossil collection.

Re: FOUND BONE WHAT IS IT!!!!!
Nice specimen This is a wing metacarpal of a medium size Pterodactyloid Pterosaur. It looks to be of Cretacious age, but it could possibly be Jurassic. It is not possible to make diagnosis of the family or the species from these photographs, but this is a rare fossil and it is worth investigating ...
