What is this.

It was found near berwick, Northumberland, England.

I have a fossil app that says Goniatites are found here but ammonites are not, I dont know how accurate that is.

The rocks are lower carboniferous limestones I think.

Looks more like a gastropod to me.

As far as I know, ammonites did not yet exist in the Carboniferous.

I agree with Ziggycardon. Quite sure that this is a Paleozoic gastropod, Euomphaloidea to be precise.
