Fossiele foto's - HELP!!!!
I would like to take better pictures of my fossils. I have looked at the photography page, but it hasn't really helped, as I can't get hold of things such as tripods, and the camera is not very good for close ups. So I am a little bit stuck.
Can anyone help give me some tips about how to take good pictures, with little equipment? ???
Dank u in advance!:)
Gr,
Thomas.

Antw: Fossil pictures - HELP !!!!
i'll try to explain this is in my best english.
make sure you have enough light when taking a picture, if your camera can't focus on the fossil, place a small red thing (or some other color, you just have to make sure that it is in contrast with the color of your fossil, e.g. if your fossil is black, try to find a small white object, and put it on your fossil), this will help your camera to sharpen on the fossil.
another small tip is that you may find it usefull to clean your lense.
try different setting (if possible) like the diapragm, and ISO-values. I've no clue what they are, I just know that they can influence the quality of your photograph. (I'm not sure if ISO-value is the correct word for it, in dutch we call it "ISO-waarden")
I hope this was helpfull, sorry for the spelling errors.
