Looking for prototoxites

My name is nils, maybe someone knows me from the german steinkern-forum.
I´m looking for a nice sample of prototaxites. Maybe somebody has some in spare and is willing to trade or sell?

Hi Nils,

perhaps handy to mention if you're looking for Prototaxites from the Silurian or Devonian. And do you have a preference from where the specimen must originate (geographically)?

I think that should narrow down possible follow-up questions.

Hi Sven,

you´re right! I´m looking for a devonian-aged sample, the geographical range is not so important. A piece from western europe would be nice (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany), maybe a stream-worn cobble.
I would like to make some thin-sections, a small sample will be enough.

did you eventually found a Prototaxites-specimen?

I think (not 100% sure) that I have some specimens from the Moroccan Devonian, but therefore I need to dig into my unidentified archives. This summer I'll make time for it.
