Hi everyone,

I found on the weekend on the Big Bay
Beach in Cape Town.
There where not much Shark Teeth so I decided to take the Bone Home:-).
Any Ideas?

Have a nice Day

looks like a big rib or a jawfragment of a whale.
Is that a bitemark on the first picture?

Its a pretty worn bone.
My best guesses are either a whale humerus or a lower jawbone fragment.

And indeed I was wondering about the big scratch too, it can be a bite mark.
Can you make a better photo of it?

Still looks like a bitemark to me.
The other bone is a scullfragment from a whale, and those are not bitemark but there where bloodvessals going throuth there.

You should try to find the tooth that made that bitemark, mostlikely a bigass megalodon with a broken tip.:)
