@Everhardus: Yes, one or two pictures of the quarry I´ve also shown at discussfossils.com - I see searching fossils is an international competition.

@Erik: Whaaaa... that´s the worst case!
The way to get a Pseudokatosira for the collection is often complicated. I myself found up to know two and a half (...). Because of their length and smallness the Pseudokatosiras are often broken ... an it´s not easy to find the rest.
One time I have had the luck to find the rest and one time the rest of the gastropod was thrown away.
Sometimes in Buttenheim you run across people who want to merge there half gasteropodes. But to my knowledge the broken gasteropods never fit together (although that would be a grat story to tell..).

The Pseudokatosira shown at the photos I found digging in the "famous" pyritic rocks... I found her in situ, so it was not so hard to detect the first missing apex.
