No Liborg. I didn\'t advise you to call for a psychologist, but to give him or her the stone as a test-object.
But it was merely a joke, I\'m sorry.
I´am thinking about it every minute.
I found the (stone) and 5years I had at home.
I did´t watch, but when I start I was surprised. Many people don´t belive. Maybe, someone gives me a good answer....I´ll wait:)

as specialist (i mean not psychologist)
i can truly state that this is not a fossil (as by my colleague plikona was already stated)
recognizing fossils is not so difficult once you learn
breccia is collapsed rock bounded together again, conglomerate are rock pebbles bounded together again, no fossils here
(ik lig hier ook dubbel) anyways, you\'re not the first to tell me such a story, and at university we get all kinds of stories like \'sir, i have found a fossi frog\' every couple of months,
just search for the real fossils, it is exciting!

You\'ve had a dozen good answers by now. It\'s not a matter of believe, it\'s a matter of fact and reason. Maybe you should start to think about changing your idea about this stone, I\'m sure you can do that.liborg schreef:

Anyway, this ordinary pebble received way too much attention by now, how do you feel about finishing this discussion, or at least changing the subject from imaginary birds to breccia?

When I show the students a breccie it looks like this rock. Sorry nothing more I can make of it.

I\'m not sure what the purpose of this thread is, then. It seems like you asked our opinion on this rock. ???
Your choice not to engage in a constructive discussion pretty much renders this topic useless.
Mind if I close it down then?
You can email me if you want to re-open it, ok?
You\'re of course welcome to participate in the other discussions here.
