Jerea sponge?
Hi, that's a long time since I posted on this forum, so, I hope you're all well despite that COVID pandemy.
I need confirmation or infirmation about the identification of this Cenomanian sponge, found in a cultivated field in the department of Charente. I thought that could be a Jerea, what do you think?
It is 6 centimeters high and 5 wide.

Re: Jerea sponge?
The photo is too blurred to decide whether this is a sponge.
It might also be a simple stone.
Best wishes,
Oliver

Re: Jerea sponge?
@Tom: No doubt that you are sure, but better pictures would help
the other forum members to compare this fossil with their own finds.
