Hello mate ime sorry i didnt reply heres some pics of the preserved organic material from one of the possible lake sediment layers. ps this stuff was found deep in the clay its not modern acumalations. Heath. ps again i do believe your rock has organic fossils in it.but ime not the man to tell you how best to get to them.

Hello mate a lot of the fossil plant life ive looked up doesent differ a lot to modern stuff! Hears some trace fossils i found in ancient lake sediment ime told its carboniferous. Heath.
