New Member - Fossil Collection
Hi Folks
I\'m very new to fossil collecting.
Rather than uploading individual specimens for identification, I have constructed a website to show my small collection.
I hope that you will be able to help me with identification/classification.
I have yet to find my FIRST fossil.
Please help if you can.
Regards
Pete

Hi Trilobite
Thanks for your comment.
Unfortunately the site/collection doesn\'t have all the specimens that I would like to own, but I am getting there slowly.

I have the same feeling and i dont think that I will lose it. Maybe when I die.
My armour is like tenfold shields, my teeth are
swords, my claws spears, the shock of my tail
is a thunderbolt, my wings a hurricane, and my
breath death!

HI Folks
My somewhat meagre collection has grown a little recently but I still have several specimens which are, as yet, unidentified.
If you have the time and inclination, please have a look at my website and let me have corrections etc.

Hi Scorpion,
welcome on the forum. Where are you from? Maybe you should look in your area and focus on one specifiek period, like chalk or carbon and find as many fossils from this period. Thats what I\'m doing at the time, but if I find something else I take it at home as well of course!
Greetz,
Gerrit-Jan

I live near Derby in the Midlands of England.
I don\'t seem to have any luck locally, there are very few outcrops, quarries, etc.
Most trips involve travelling a distance.
