That's not true. It might be not that old, but most of them are around 115.000 years old. I don't now what you call recently, but the Mimachlamys Varia is NOT only nown as recently at all!

Indeed, but this rock looks a lot older. That is why I think a brachiopod is the best option here. But with only a small piece of the shell I can't be completely certain.

Dear forum members, this kind of guessing around is not very helpful! At first skorpion should give us more information on the location and the possible stratigraphic origin of these stones (a bit of research in the www should set you on a right path). Without this it is nearly impossible to determine his pieces.

The piece on the first two pics looks like some sort of shell (like Frederik already wrote). The object(s) on the last two pics look like a pair of aptychi (mandibular parts of ammonites which perhaps also had the function to "close" the shell (operculum).

Klopt, ik had nu zelf niet gezien dat het topic al zo oud is.
Dan heeft antwoorden idd weinig zin

Ook als het om een oeroude topic gaat: de laatste foto toont toch geen belemniet!
Ik zie een aptychus of een bivalve.
