The package arrived and WOW!!!! That was a big box and so many fossils inside. I checked the condition of the fossils and all were safe and not damaged.

I must say that the kindness and generosity that you and your friends have shown to Dylan is awesome!!!! You truly are a good fellow and you have good friends. Please pass along to them my deepest thanks for what they have done and let them know that I will be delivering the fossils soon to Dylan. He is going to absolutely pass out when he sees all of these fossils that so many people have sent to him. I am so excited about the idea of taking them to him. I have made certain that all notes that you and your friends sent stayed with each package so that Dylan will know who sent him the fossils. I will be certain to take plenty of photos to send to you of Dylan opening the fossils so that you can share them with your friends.

This is the last box of fossils I was waiting on and now I can deliver the fossils. I just have to find out when he will be home during this upcoming holiday week.'

Ik heb een kleine selectie gemaakt van alle foto's (ik kreeg er nl 31 opgestuurd!).
En hieronder nog even een stukje tekst:

Hey guys,
This message is going out to everyone that was so kind to send fossils to my good friend Dylan. The fossils that you sent came in the wake of his difficult days that he has been experiencing since January due to his dad's death. Those fossils were an wonderful blessing in his life! He has been trying to be brave, but some days are better than others which is to be expected. The one thing that makes him smile is FOSSILS!!! I received lots of fossils from all of you for him and one large box that included many boxes of fossils that one of you had received from several other European collectors that you re-boxed and then sent on to me. Your kindness and dedication to this act of willingly helping a little boy you have never met is very well appreciated and leaves me with a feeling of great admiration for each of you.

On April 14th I went to see Dylan to give him all of the fossils that all of you sent to him. I wish I could relay to you the JOY that shown in his eyes when he saw all the boxes of fossils. he had no idea I was bringing him anything until I got there. He looked liked a kid experiencing his first Christmas morning. He was so excited I thought he might pass right out. He now has fossils that he never thought he would have all because of all of you. His mother and grandmother were there at the time and they said that they just could hardly believe how kind all of you had been and said to tell all of you thank you very much. They were glad to see Dylan get so excited! Dylan asked why everyone sent him the fossils. I told him the reason was because they (All of you) had heard that he was going through a hard time and that he loved fossils, so fossil hunters have to stick together and watch out for each other. I told him that regardless of where we all live, we are all a part of the same fossil loving family. He agreed. He was very impressed by your deep expressions of generosity, as was his family. He is now working on "Thank you " notes for you.

If you had sent fossils to me from other collectors for Dylan, would you please relay this e-mail and the attached photos to them please. I have attached several photos of Dylan opening many of the fossils and the smile that the moments created. Once again my friends, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! You made a little boy smile who needed to. You are all GOOD SOULS!!!! If anyone says otherwise, then send them to me and I will correct them for you.
