I found this on the Isle of Wight some time ago. But I couldn’t identify it. Someone said it was a burrow of a shrimp like creature called Ophiomorpha. It is 6 cm by 3cm. Does anyone know what it is? ???

That someone was not to incorrect at all,
it is indeed a lithified burrow of a shrimp like creature (or that is what we think created this burrow), but not the shrimp is called Ophiomorpha, the burrow is. But keep in mind, this is an ichnogenus, so don't bother about the ichnospecies name.
Sincerely, Stijn

Thanks, sorry. It must have sounded different to you. The person thought it was a burrow, and I found the name.
