Hallo Jerry, het bot op de foto heeft zowel een distaal als een proximaal uiteinde. Er mist alleen een hoekje aan de scharnierkant. De andere zijde ziet er uit als een oppervlak voor spieraanhechting

Met excuses voor de vuile handen. Ik hoop dat toevoeging van nog enkele foto's meer licht in deze duisternis schept.

Basil . . . Here is what I think you've found. It may be from something other than a hog -- this is just an example.
The bone has only one articular facet and that is just partial at the broken end. The other 'end' is for muscle attachments.

Hier is wat ik denk dat je hebt gevonden. Het kan zijn van iets anders dan een varken - dit is slechts een voorbeeld.
Het bot heeft slechts een facet gewrichten en dat is slechts gedeeltelijk aan de gebroken einde. Het andere 'einde' is voor spieraanhechtingen.
