Hello from Germany (and some other countries, sometimes).
My name is Johannes, and I hope to be professional somewhere in the future...
My interests (and work) in the last years include Pleistocene Mammals and Microfossils in Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, environments of hominin dispersal out of Africa, palaeobiogeography of reindeers and elasmosaurids, and the whole palaeontological issue of the northern Europe glacial erratic boulders, with one focus (beside others) on Cambrian trace fossils from Scandinavia.
Beside palaeontology I have interests in cosmic impact events (and did some fieldwork in the Steinheim and Ries impact crater), and in prehistoric archaeology of the Near East and in experimental archaeology, too.
I'm active in some german collector communities (steinkern.de and trilobita.de) and hope to find here some more contacts to other collectors... Unfortunately, I'm only experienced in english language (beside german ofcourse), and a little in french and swedish...
Best regards
Johannes
