Maastricht, Stationsplein, honingraatkoraal en spons
In de hardstenen zitbank voor de hoofdingang van NS-station Maastricht, zag ik met name een honingraat koraal en spons fossiel. Zie bijgevoegde foto's. Is mijn waarneming correct?

Belgische stoepsteen / arduin. Kun je over nalezen in het prachtige boekje van Jelle Reumer.
Het is een rugose koraal; ik noem die altijd 'hexagonaria', maar de juiste naam is Michelinia.
