I\'ve been trying to classify this coral for quite long. I need your help.
Location: Central Catalonia, North-east Spain.
Period: Tertiary-Eocen(Lutetian)
Any suggestions?
Best wishes

Hello Pedra,
Very nice rugose coral!
I collected in the eocene in the Pyrenees myself, and also found corals. I will have a look for you in the Treatise to look for a coral like this.
In the Photopages you can view some of my coral finds from the Pyrenees (BoltaƱa).

Ammun Rah is right. Rugose corals lived from the Ordovicium till Perm. Scleractinian coral lived from Trias till now.
It\'s a nice coral you are showing us.
Maybe you shout seek in the underorde from Faviina. I\'m not sure, its a quess !!
Succes.

Hi
Sorry for the delay in thanking you all for your suggestions.
I tried Faviinia but with no satisfactory results. I\'m still searching.
