Hello guys, I met another fossil hunter on the UK Fossil Forum who lives just one state over from me here in the states, and he gave me a site for ammos just 2 1/2 hour drive from me! I was up there last week with two of my boys and we actually found some decent fossils. Here is one that is still in the rock, I didnt want to take the chance of destr0ying it by hammering off any more rock, that measures between 8 and 9 centimeters. It appears to be complete, but there may be some damage on the top part? I hope not! But it will be very exciting for me to start prepping out this beautiful beast! I will post some more photos once Ive prepped it out.

hi ron,

very nice heteromorph, it is a scaphitid
From the pics I cannot be sure about exact genus, species or age, but it is certainly upper cretaceous
