As promised earlier, I will show some of my Danish findings here on the forum.
So here are some insects from Ejerslev moler pit on Mors, Denmark. (Eocene)

These insects are from hard cement stone, they are extremely rare in the soft moler.

Enjoy

Hi Mikkel,

Beautiful specimens! What is (is there any?) the stratigraphical relationship of these insects to the fishes you show in the other post? What species of insects are this? Aquatic types that lived coeval to the fishes or are they earlier/later? Well, anyhow, very nice pieces (both the fish- and insect-).

Best regards,

Tim

Hi Tim,

They were not aquatic insects, but were blown from land areas to the sea. They are found in the same layers as the fish. As to the exact species, I have to admit that I haven't got them identified yet.
Thanks for the compliments. :)

Regards,

Mikkel
